NU has 3 players already, and I'm left all on my lonesome. Shame on all of you :(.

I suppose this means your leadership election will be slightly more interesting ;)

Is it too late to ask for changes about Parliament. I don't want to address the speaker and I want to call people by their names.

I think it should be like the Scottish Parliament - occasionally people address the Presiding Officer but nobody minds, and they usually call each other by their names but fomally.

E.g. My colleague David Gunn or Mr. Gunn, but not David.

I just think it would differentiate Bellisle from Britain and really PolUK.

It is my understanding that Bellisle is very much influenced by the Dutch and British Political Systems, both of which are parliamentary and observe somewhat the same parliamentary customs, such as 'Mr Speaker' etc.

Or the House of Reps in the US.

Most legislative bodies have these rules. Plus, I don't remember them calling each other by name in the Scottish Parliament.

Oh they do, especially Alex who likes calling Wendy "Wendy" and not even bothering about Alexander. And they don't always address the Presiding Officer.

I believe any Parliament founded now would be like that.

The Act of Union was actually illegal, hence why Scotland is still a nation.

As always... wikipedia has the final say: "Scotland (Gaelic: Alba) is a nation in northwest Europe and one of the four constituent countries[5] of the United Kingdom. It occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain and shares a land border to the south with England. It is bounded by the North Sea to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, and the North Channel and Irish Sea to the southwest. Apart from the mainland, Scotland consists of over 790 islands."

So nation it is
