Leadership Election

Postby Jamie Banks (BSP) on Thu Jan 24, 2008 3:32 pm

To be perfectly frank the leadership result for the People's Alliance are a load of bullshit. According to Ollie the leadership results were based on the Press Office (where Williams & Myself were very strong) and the leadership debate (where Priest and myself were strong). Needless to say the actual results aren't reflective of this in anyway whatsoever. To illustrate my point, observce the results for my home constituency of Muse:

Muse:-
Williams – 48%
Johnson – 44%
Banks – 7%
Priest - 1%

There is an obvious discrepencancy here, and regardless of the end result the way in which this has been calculated is blatantly unfair. I think questions need to be answered here.

I don't mind it being run by the Avs, just as long as they are willing to be neutral enough to deliver a fair result. In this case they obviously didn't.

Redo the results, but I don't want to win it would be really unfair on Keith. I think I'm going to resign because I've just screwed everything up over this.

Really it's my fault. I shouldn't have made such a big thing over this and now I just seem like a bad loser. I think it would be best if I quit.

Don't be daft, it was my fault - I should've paid more attention to detail.

Keep the leadership results. Ryan & myself are going to be splitting to form a new party. That way everyone is happy and it all works out.

Yay! We have a solution!

I don't know how you're going to function as a third party when you only command 7% of the vote in your own constituency. :P

Sorry. I couldn't resist.
